8/16 E1/T1 Links (24/48 E1/T1 Ports), 1+1 Automatic Protection / AB Fallback Switching Equipment: This equipment is to be used when the customer wants to use two different E1/T1 links of the network to establish a 1+1 redundant path to ensure continued E1/T1 service between two points even if one of the network E1/T1 link fails. This example is also illustrated in the product data sheets for the respective products, provided below.

The VCL-SafeComm, 8 E1 Links (24 E1 Ports), 1+1 Automatic Protection / AB Fallback
Switching Equipment may be used to protect upto 8 E1 Links (24 E1 Ports), point-to-
point links and provide an alternate communication route to each E1 Link between
any two E1 points.
Failsafe - The equipment itself never becomes a point of failure. It automatically
reverts to and reconnects to the primary link even in power down condition.

The VCL-SafeComm, 16 E1 Links (48 E1 Ports), 1+1 Automatic Protection / AB Fallback Switching Equipment may be used to protect upto 16 E1 Links (48 E1 Ports), point-to-point links and provide an alternate communication route to each E1 Link between any two E1 points.
